Amonfire aka. Amon Wondra is an up-and-coming drum and bass DJ & producer from the heart of Lübeck. His music selection ranges from Liquid/Power Liquid Drum & Bass to Neurofunk and Ragga Jungle tracks. The creative mix of songs rich in vocals and melodies between 170 – 178 BPM not only makes hearts beat faster on the dance floor, but also attracts people from outside the genre into the dancing crowd.
In spring 2022, his path took him to “unklar” as part of the Kulturfunke Newcomer Night – a small bar in Lübeck’s student hotspot, Clemensstrasse. With his first gig there he laid the foundation for his DJ career, filling one dance floor after the next. At the vault of the aftershow party from the Hanseatic Culture Festival and the first big drum & bass event in Lübeck “M.A.U.S. 01”, where amonfire plays with various DJs like Steve Phatvibe aka. When DJ Bolt and other local celebrities played, he ensured that the floors vibrated and faces beamed. The big dream was to be able to play at a festival from then on and the request didn’t take long to arrive. In August 2022 he got the opportunity to play in the Glo Lounge at the Pangea Festival. The response was so great that people danced to drum & bass in the lounge the entire weekend.
amonfire produced his first instrumental in June 2021 at his desk in his shared apartment, which found its way onto common streaming platforms almost half a year later as a full song with two other artists. This will be followed by the release of his first drum & bass track via UTM Records in November 2022.

Seine Musikauswahl reicht von Liquid/Power Liquid Drum & Bass bis hin zu Neurofunk und Ragga Jungle Tracks. Der kreative Mix aus den vocal- und melodienreichen Songs zwischen 170 – 178 BPM lassen nicht nur die Herzen auf der Tanzfläche schneller schlagen, sondern ziehen auch genrefremde Menschen in die tanzende Crowd.
Im Frühjahr 2022 führte ihn sein Weg im Rahmen der Kulturfunke Newcomer Night ins “unklar” – einer kleinen Bar im lübecker Studenten-Hotspot, der Clemensstraße. Mit seinem ersten Gig legte er dort den Grundstein seiner DJ Karriere, wodurch er einen Dancefloor nach dem nächsten füllte. Bei dem Gewölberave der Aftershow Party vom Hansekulturfestival sowie der ersten großen Drum & Bass Veranstaltung in Lübeck “M.A.U.S. 01”, wo amonfire mit diversen DJs wie Steve Phatvibe aka. DJ Bolt und weiteren lokalen Bekanntheiten auflegte, sorgte er für vibrierende Böden und strahlende Gesichter. Der große Traum war es fortan auf einem Festival spielen zu dürfen und auch die Anfrage sollte nicht lange auf sich warten lassen. Im August 2022 bekam er die Möglichkeit in der Glo Lounge auf dem Pangea Festival aufzulegen. Die Resonanz war so groß, dass das gesamte Wochenende in der Lounge zu Drum & Bass getanzt wurde.
Sein erstes Instrumental produzierte amonfire im Juni 2021 an seinem Schreibtisch in seiner WG, welches knapp ein halbes Jahr später als vollständiger Song mit zwei weiteren Artists seinen Weg auf die gängigen Streaming-Plattformen fand. Darauf folgt im November 2022 der Release seines ersten Drum & Bass Tracks über UTM-Records.
