Bio –
My journey into music and DJing started when I was very young and used to play some of my parent’s old vinyl on a Sunday afternoon. I was raised on Reggae, Soca, Calypso, and Motown and loved every minute of it. As soon as I could, I started buying my records and in the late 90s began playing in East London social clubs on Saturday nights. At the time I was big into 90s/00s R&B and Hip-Hop but still stayed true to my roots
I then discovered UK Garage and something about the beat had me hooked… easy to bust a move to, MCs spitting over the top, that was it for me! I wanted to be a proper DJ. Then came the proper direct drive decks and a lot of hours of practice before I started playing more seriously. Initially as a resident of The Ram in East London before 20+ years playing private and corporate events. As part of the Anything Goes collective, I play all types of music: My primary objective is to get people dancing and keep them up all night. So, anything from the 70s through to the latest and greatest is what you’ll find me playing on a night out.
I’ve played at Ascot Racecourse, and Hampton Court Palace, hosted boat parties on the Thames, a wedding in Italy and done countless weddings and birthdays. If you can dance to it, I’ll play it! And if you recommend something, I’ll always give it a listen. Let’s go!
